Together, we will build a foundational understanding of gender through the deconstruction of Western colonialism. With the expertise of our elders, we explore Indigenous and Non-Western gender identity and the role of Two-Spirit, Trans, and Gender Non-Conforming community members both historically and in the present day. Through elder’s advocacy, we will better understand gender affirmative care and best practices for supporting the aging 2SLGBTQ+ community.
